Register with Americana Real Estate for a once-in a lifetime, seven-day, six-night real estate and fact-finding tour of Costa Rica.

On this personalized tour see two of Costa Rica’s most breathtaking ocean view properties in very different locations on the Pacific coast. The trip can be extended/altered at your request to include activities such as sportfishing and general tourism and/or visits to more properties in other locations.

Here’s what is in store:

• Day One (Friday): Arrive San José. A private, A/C minivan will pick you up and take you to either the hotel Grano de Oro or Le Bergerac. Overnight at one of the hotels.
• Day Two (Saturday): At 7:30 AM a private, A/C minivan will pick you up at your hotel and take you to the domestic airport for the 9:00 AM Nature Air flight to Palmar Sur. At the airport you will be picked by the OVV staff and taken to the Ocean View Vistas project. After lunch, begin tour. Overnight, all-inclusive, at OVV.
• Day Three (Sunday): Tour OVV project. Overnight there.
• Day Four (Monday): After breakfast, you will be taken to the Palmar Sur airport for the 10:10 AM Nature Air flight back to San José. At the domestic airport, you will be picked up by a private A/C minivan, taken for lunch at Santa Ana’s Rock and Roll Pollo where one of our staff will join you to answer questions, etc. Then you will go back to the airport to board the 3:30 PM Nature Air flight to Nosara. Take a cab to Harbor Reef Lodge. Overnight at Harbor Reef Lodge.
• Day Five (Tuesday): After breakfast, you will be picked up at Harbor Reef Lodge and taken to the San Juanillo ocean view properties. Back to Nosara. Overnight at Harbor Reef Lodge.
• Day Six (Wednesday): Morning free to enjoy the beach at Nosara. At about 3:30 pm take a cab to the local airstrip in order to board the 4:30 PM Nature Air flight to San José. In San José, a private, A/C minivan will pick you up and take you to either the hotel Grano de Oro or Le Bergerac. Overnight at one of the hotels.
• Day Seven (Thursday): A private, A/C minivan will pick you up at your hotel and take you to Juan Santamaría international airport in time for you to board your flight home.

Services:

• "San José airport/hotel transfers" are provided by Costa Rica’s international connections (CRIC) which has several modern, A/C minivans comfortably seating up to six passengers. All drivers are carefully selected, trained and courteous professionals.
• "Grano de Oro", San José (about five minutes by cab from downtown). This comfortable 35-room boutique hotel is a remodeled Victorian-type mansion featuring sparkling fountains and lush tropical foliage, and a rooftop deck that offers soothing jacuzzis and a spot for secluded sunbathing. Its restaurant is one of San Jose’s finest. Rooms are furnished in tropical Victorian style, and the art and furnishings are by Costa Rican artists. No two rooms are alike.
• "Le Bergerac", Los Yoses, San José (10 minutes from downtown). This small luxury hotel and its wonderful tropical gardens are an oasis of tranquility in the heart of the capital. It features the Ile de France, a famous San José restaurant with a wide selection of superb cuisine and fine wines. Many of the rooms provide private and secluded garden patios. All rooms have custom-made furniture, delightful décor, internet access, cable TV, telephone, hair dryer and private bathroom.
• "Nature Air" is Costa Rica’s leading independent domestic airline, with daily flights from San José to most of the country's top tourist and sportfishing destinations. Routes are serviced by modern, fast 19-seat Twin Otter Vistaliners and seven-seat Britten Norman Islanders. Please note: there is a 25-pound per person baggage limit on all Nature Air flights. Excess baggage is charged at 50 cents us per pound. If you weigh over 250lbs, certain penalties may apply.
• “OVV Guest House” above Ojochal, South Pacific coast (a four-hour drive from San José or 50-minute flight to Palmar Sur and then a 25-minute drive north). The comfortable seven-room Guest House with patio restaurant, spacious living and entertainment room with satellite TV, and swimming pool offers a spectacular view of the Pacific Ocean. Exclusively at the disposal of OVV clients, the Guest House offers real estate clients two day all-inclusive accommodation in double or single occupancy featuring comfortable rooms and fine local cuisine.
• “Harbor Reef Lodge” in Nosara on the Nicoya Peninsula (a four-and-a-half hour drive or 50-minute flight from San José). This attractive complex comprises a hotel/restaurant main building and several villa guest houses each in its own style just a few steps from Playa Guiones, one of Costa Rica’s most beautiful beaches. The hotel offers fine food at its restaurant and refreshments and snacks at its poolside bar. Accommodation varies from single/double rooms to large suites and entire villas. Comfortable rooms feature two beds, A/C and ceiling fans, small fridge, coffee maker and porch with beach view.

Prices start at $739.00 per person, double occupancy. Price of $739.00 is based on: Superior Room at the Grano de Oro, Deluxe Room at Le Bergerac, OVV Guest House and Guest Room at Harbor Reef Lodge. Rooms can be upgraded on request – extra charges will apply. Single supplement for basic tour (above): $300.00. Price subject to change depending on room availability, additional airline service and fuel charges, etc. Basic tour program runs Friday-Thursday, and can be booked throughout the year (depending on availability) except October 1-November 10, December 15-January 5 and Easter Week.

Tour includes two days, all inclusive, at the OVV Guest House in Ojochal. NOT included are international air transportation; meals and beverages (unless specified) other than at the OVV Guest House and lunch at Rock and Roll Pollo; airport transfers in Nosara; gratuities; and other services acquired individually.

Americana Real Estate requires at least 45 days advance notification of dates, and full pre-payment at least 20 days prior to the trip. Cancellation charges based on the providers’ cancellation policies will apply if tour is cancelled once payment to Americana has been made.
